Dr. Johann Kluge is a distinguished Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Surgeon who completed his specialist training in 2010 at the University of Pretoria. His career has been marked by a commitment and a passion for advancing the field of Head and Neck surgery.
After initially working in private practice at Life Groenkloof Hospital, Dr. Kluge expanded his professional endeavors in 2020 by opening a practice at Cintocare Hospital. Notably, Cintocare Hospital holds the distinction of being the first Green-Star hospital in South Africa and the fifth of its kind globally.
Dr. Johann Kluge’s expertise encompasses a wide range of ENT surgeries, but his true passion lies in the diagnosis and treatment of Head and Neck cancers, with a specific focus on Thyroid surgery with the new multidisciplinary Thyroid clinic also based at Cintocare . His commitment to advancing his skills led him to complete a fellowship in head and neck surgery through the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies.
Dr. Johann Kluge’s leadership extends to professional societies as well. He currently serves as the President of the South African Head and Neck Oncology Society, demonstrating his commitment to the local medical community. Furthermore, his dedication to the global advancement of Head and Neck Oncology is underscored by his recent selection to serve on the executive committee of the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies.
