Neck Dissection
Neck dissections refers to the removal of lymph nodes and surrounding tissue from the neck for the purpose of cancer treatment.
Thyroidectomy
The surgical removal of all or part of the thyroid gland when a patient has thyroid cancer or some other condition of the thyroid gland or goiter.
Parotidectomy
The surgical removal of the parotid gland, the major and largest of the salivary glands. The procedure is performed due to tumors.
Oral Cavity Cancers
Oral cancer, also known as mouth cancer, is cancer of the lining of the lips, mouth, or upper throat
Oropharyngeal Cancers
Abnormal cells with the potential to both grow locally and spread to other parts of the body are found in the tissue of the part of the throat.

MDT refers to Multi-Disciplinary team. In the field of Head and Neck cancers, it refers specific to the management of patients with any cancer developing in one or more of the following regions: Oral Cavity, Oropharynx, Larynx, Ear and temporal bone, Cervical (including the Thyroid and Parathyroids) and Nose and Paranasal Sinuses.
